Harnessing the potential of genetics and epigenetics for new therapeutics and diagnostics

Moshe Szyf is a geneticist and James McGill professor of pharmacology and therapeutics at the McGill University, where he also holds a GlaxoSmithKline-CIHR chair in pharmacology. He is one of the pioneers of epigenetics.

As of January 2017, Moshe Szyf published 262 papers in peer-reviewed journals, almost all on epigenetics.

David Cheishvili studied Biology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem where he earned his PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Since 2011, David worked as a post-doc and research associate in Moshe Szyf laboratory in Pharmacology Department of McGill University, where he studied epigenetical aspects of cancer.
